This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for mid-week stays. The rooms are clean and well-insulated, ensuring a quiet and comfortable sleep. The staff is pleasant and attentive, providing quick service. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, above a beer garden, with rooms on the upper floors offering stunning views of the castle. The breakfast included is tasty and offers a good variety of options.
The breakfast could be improved with more generous portions and better options.

This hotel is in a prime location in the heart of the tourist area. It is so near the castle that you can admire its beauty from your room. The convenience of being just a short walk from the Airlink 100 bus stop or Waverly station makes it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and great showers. The friendly staff provides prompt service and the breakfast is a delicious way to start the day. Guests also appreciate the homely atmosphere and the beautiful views of Edinburgh.
The initial impression of the hotel's entry and staircases may not be the greatest, but once past that, everything about the hotel is great.
